TRIPS FROM AFISSOS
The AFISSOS area offers many opportunities for exploring the Pelion
region. Volos is the capital of the Magnesia region. It is 314 Km from
Athens and 220 Km from Thessaloniki. Volos is the third largest port in
Greece, a modern town, with all kinds of entertainments. The Hotel
AGNATI is a very convenient centre for exploring the surrounding area
bedsides the many coastial villages. You have the option of heading for
the hills and exploring the mountains. In the winter, mount Pelion is a
skiing centre.
